Job Description & How to Apply Below
** What You Will Do*
* The ISR-7 Space Systems Assurance and Implementation group seeks a motivated, innovative, and highly skilled individual to serve as a Senior Electronics Fabrication & Integration Technician on our Electronics Fabrication Team. In this role, you will be an integral member of multidisciplinary project teams supporting spaceflight and national security missions, collaborating closely with engineers, scientists, project leaders, and fellow technicians throughout the product realization lifecycle to deliver advanced spaceflight hardware.
You will help transform engineering designs into mission-ready hardware by providing manufacturability and integration feedback throughout the design process while fabricating and validating high-reliability electrical harnesses and electronic assemblies that meet demanding technical, quality, and program requirements.
Working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, you will support multiple concurrent projects from prototype development through payload integration and delivery. You will fabricate and validate complex electrical harnesses, develop and execute electrical verification testing, and work alongside project teams to troubleshoot hardware and system-level integration challenges. As a senior member of the Electronics Fabrication Team, you will mentor fellow technicians, contribute to continual process improvements, and provide technical leadership in electronics fabrication, integration, and test activities, helping deliver reliable hardware for some of the Laboratory's most challenging missions.
The ideal candidate will distinguish themselves through expert-level electronics fabrication and integration experience, exceptional troubleshooting skills, a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary project teams, and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-reliability hardware in a dynamic, multi-project environment.
