Technical Project Manager

• Manage and ensure timely completion of discrete technical or operational projects
• Establish technical project requirements
• Define project deliverables, budgets, and schedules
• Oversee project teams in planning, tracking, and execution from initiation to completion
• Develop or maintain processes to meet programmatic needs
• Produce work products or provide services meeting customer requirements
• Perform cost analysis and control
• Perform project planning and scheduling activities
• Identify, analyze, and provide innovative solutions for cost and schedule guidance
• Ensure work is completed as scheduled
• Identify cost trends for management attention
• Support project scheduling using Primavera P6, including data quality checks, integration tasks, and schedule analysis
• Support project cost management using Cobra and EVMS processes
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to align solutions with project objectives

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• U.S. Citizenship
• Satisfactory pre-employment screening, including drug and breath alcohol test
• Motor Vehicle Record check
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Primavera P6, and Cobra
• Demonstrated initiative and independence
• Strong communication skills across technical and business contexts
• Experience in project controls within DOE/NNSA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Active DOE/DoD clearance within the past two years preferred
• Previous DOE/NNSA work experience preferred
• Knowledge of LANL Project Controls procedures, policies, and processes highly desirable
• Knowledge of DOE O 413.3B EVMS requirements highly desirable

Demonstrates expertise in project management, including planning, scheduling, and cost management using tools like Primavera P6 and Cobra. Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects that meet customer requirements and adhere to DOE/NNSA standards.
