TSCM Assistant

Description

MELE Associates is seeking a TSCM Assistant to join our team in Los Alamos, NM.

• Successfully receives formal training and on-the-job (OTJ) training and becomes competent in the provision of TSSC services (either TSCM or TEMPEST) to protect NNSA facilities and assets.
• Develops competency to effectively communicate TSSC requirements/issues to large or small groups of non-technical personnel.
• Assists in the operation and maintenance of sensitive measurement and survey equipment.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Five years of experience in physical security, law enforcement, information systems, network or cyber security, electronics repair and maintenance, or electrical, RF or wireless engineering.
• Must meet the physical, vision and hearing requirements for TSCM technicians as per NNSA SD 470.6.
• Undergraduate degree in an information technology, electronics, telecommunications, computer technology, security or a related discipline is desirable.
• Must demonstrate the required aptitudes needed to pass the ITC Fundamentals Course, and be recommended by a certified TSCM technician/practitioner.
• Active Q or TS clearance with SCI eligibility or favorably adjudicated Tier V personnel security background investigation not more than 4.5 years from proposed entry onto contract.

This is a full-time onsite position in Los Alamos, NM.
