- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit.
- Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
- Perform ongoing assessments of vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and overall recovery.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other members of the care team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding postoperative care and discharge instructions.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing –
required - Active and unencumbered RN license –
required - Minimum of 1 year of PACU nursing experience –
required - Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
