Up to $30,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Candidates

Schedule: 3x12, Days (7a-7p), Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Advance Your Clinical Practice in PACU
Our PACU team provides specialized care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and procedural interventions. Team members enjoy a collaborative environment where nurses work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to deliver exceptional patient care. We foster a culture of teamwork, professional growth, and patient-centered excellence.

How you'll contribute

An RN PACU who excels in this role:

  • Assesses and monitors patients recovering from anesthesia and sedation
  • Recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition
  • Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols
  • Provides pain management and comfort measures
  • Documents patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
  • Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure safe patient transitions throughout the perioperative continuum
  • Educates patients and families regarding postoperative care and discharge instructions
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of every patient

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current New Mexico or Compact State RN license and possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
