Howyou'll contribute
An Emergency Room RN who excels in this role:
- Performs rapid and accurate patient assessments to identify emergent care needs
- Initiates and implements appropriate nursing interventions based on patient condition
- Administers medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to treatment
- Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate timely patient care
- Provides education and support to patients and families
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record

Applicants should have a current New Mexico or Compact State RN license and possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred, Associates required - Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred, but must have within 30 days of hire.
