DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE:
Foothill College is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and collegial full-time Humanities instructor with a strong commitment to promoting arts and humanities education to develop global citizens, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and equity-mindedness. The successful candidate will utilize interdisciplinary methods to teach a broad range of Humanities courses that further the students' capacity to synthesize information and develop their ability to apply critical thinking skills in an integrative manner.
Teaching assignments may include on-campus and online. This position reports to the Dean of Business and Social Sciences.
Standard duties expected of all faculty include development and evaluation of curricula, maintaining scheduled office hours, attending department and division meetings, pursuing professional growth activities, service on district and/or college committees, and performing other duties consistent with the role of an instructor.
