Qualifications and

Experience:

• Current teaching credential in Special Education
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in the classroom

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deliver, and modify instruction to meet students differing abilities and learning styles
• Create and update IEPs, ensuring compliance with school and district guidelines
• Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Work closely with paraprofessionals and related service providers
• Maintain communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
