The role involves identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing potential investment opportunities, strategic partnerships, and emerging technology trends aligned with State Farm's innovation priorities.
Key responsibilities include conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging technologies and investment opportunities, building and maintaining market maps and investment theses across priority areas, supporting investment diligence by analyzing business models, market size, competitive positioning, traction, financial performance and valuation, developing financial models and valuation analyses for investment decision-making, and synthesizing internal and external data into executive-ready materials.
Focus areas include insurance, financial services, AI, climate resilience, mobility, claims, underwriting, fraud, customer experience, and emerging enterprise technologies.
Hub locations:
Bloomington, IL or Los Altos, CA. Candidates must live within 180 miles of a hub location. US work authorization required; employer does not sponsor H-1B visas.
