Pharmacy License Requirement: Current license in CA or within 6 months of obtaining license
Location: Los Altos
Work Hours: 8 am‑9 pm, seven days a week
Base Wage: $22.75–$24.75 hourly + applicable differentials
Responsibilities- Offer genuine client service at all times and maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful attitude.
- Conduct medication consultations on refills and new medications.
- Work closely with veterinarians to process prescription refills and fill medications for outpatient and in‑hospital patients (approximately 450 prescriptions daily).
- Take phone calls regarding prescription refills and inquiries from clients, veterinary technicians, and outside pharmacies.
- Deliver medications and prescription formula food to clients' cars in our parking lot.
- Current pharmacy license in CA or within 6 months of obtaining license.
- Good knowledge of basic human drugs (brand and generic names); animal‑specific medication training will be provided.
- Basic computer skills for entering patient charts and medical notes into the system.
- Ability to receive multiple oral and written instructions and perform them accurately and timely.
- Comfortable around animals, clients, and medical procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain teamwork and communication under stressful situations.
