Cheiron is seeking a Backend Engineer, Applied Agents to build the agent layer and backend systems powering its AI-native platform for pharma and life sciences. You will craft the agent runtime, harness, memory, tool-calling, and sandboxing capabilities, and ship scalable backend services with Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.
You will work on vector DBs, semantic search, and RAG pipelines, plus data ingestion and indexing for papers, clinicals, regulatory docs, and patents.
