Toyota Research Institute – Senior Machine Learning Engineer – Los Altos, CA – Operations Information Engineering (Full‑time, Hybrid)
Required Qualifications and Skills- BS with 6–10 years of experience, MS with 5–9 years, PhD with 3–7 years, or 9–13 years of equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in PyTorch and/or Tensor Flow, with hands‑on experience building, fine‑tuning, evaluating, and deploying large language models.
- Experience with multimodal data, including text and images, and understanding of associated data characteristics and pipeline requirements.
- Proven track record of deploying and maintaining machine learning systems in production environments, with experience using AWS services for machine learning workloads and strong Python fundamentals.
- Ability to consult effectively with researchers and translate technical requirements into actionable solutions.
