Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team full-time. You'll play a pivotal role in managing the accounting processes that drive our financial operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Accounting, your expertise will be essential in ensuring efficiency and accuracy within our finance department. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $120,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Manage and optimize accounting and analyses for the order-to-cash cycle and revenue recognition process.
• Oversee retail and rental lines of business across both US and international markets.
• Track inventory movements from receipts to shipments and transfers using Quick Books.
• Assist with journal entries, balance sheet analyses, reconciliations, and other financial analyses during the monthly closing process.
• Support the monthly financial close cycle through reconciliations and analyses.
• Coordinate with external firms to ensure timely reconciliations of related accounts.
• Contribute to the financial audit process.
• Provide data support and ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Exceptional accounting and bookkeeping skills, including a thorough understanding of the conceptual accounting framework and natural balances.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data management/analysis skills.
  Strong analytical, organizational, and technological skills.
• Passion for delivering error-free work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, thriving in a startup environment.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Experience with Quick Books or similar accounting systems preferred.
