Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This newly created role is essential for maintaining financial wellness and integrity within their organization. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate and implement assigned accounting project
Manage, train, and supervise the accounting team
Ensure payroll processing accuracy and timely accounts payable reviews
Oversee project accounting processes, including customer contract costs and accounts receivable
Work with the CFO to ensure accounting processes comply with US Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

Qualifications:

Education: A 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major
Experience:
At least 1 year in finance and accounting within the hospitality industry or a related professional area
Technical Skills:
- MS Office:
  Competency in MS Office applications
- Databases:
  Familiarity with database management
- Bookkeeping and Accounting Software:
  Hands-on experience with spreadsheets, financial reports, and basic accounting procedures
Attention to Detail:
Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and word processing
Multitasking and Communication:
Ability to multitask, build relationships, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
