Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets to ensure financial stability and efficiency.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with all tax regulations.
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Solid knowledge of key financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Excellent knowledge in accounting software's (Great Plains Dynamics preferred) and proficiency of MS Office Suite (Excel,).
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
