Senior Property Accountant

Our client, a growing real estate investment firm, is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Property Accountant to support the financial reporting and operations of a diverse property portfolio. This role partners closely with property management, leasing, and leadership teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financials.

• Manage full‑cycle property accounting, including AP/AR, tenant billing, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Support property budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with property managers, development, and leasing teams to ensure clean and accurate reporting
• Assist with year‑end audits, tax filings, and external auditor requests
• Identify process improvements to strengthen accounting operations

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of property or real estate accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and real estate accounting principles.
• Proficiency with property management systems; advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate cross‑functionally.

• $100,000 to $120,000/yr + bonus
