This company operates on a 100% REMOTE model!
This role will require someone with demonstrated thorough understanding of the General Ledger and Trial Balance and will oversee the general accounting function.
Responsibilities:
- Financial statement preparation
- Daily and monthly cash, AP and AR processes and assist with month end close
- Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation
- Prepare and analyze entries for all sides of the business, including, but not limited to, Revenue, Fixed Assets, Capitalized Costs, Prepaids, Expenses, and Accruals

- BA or BS with an emphasis in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years general accounting or equivalent experience
- Consumer Packaged Goods background and combination of public accounting firm experience and private industry experience a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Netsuite experience a plus
