Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and document variance analysis.
- Collaborate with accounts payable to ensure proper expense coding and sub-ledger reconciliation.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for internal review.
- Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
- 4+ years of professional accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, are essential.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify key variances.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
- High level of accountability, initiative, and curiosity in problem-solving.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support process improvement initiatives.
