Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly work-papers that support the year-end audit process.
- Provide auditors with requested information in a timely manner to assist with fund audits.
- Book daily cash entries and other necessary transactions into the general ledger.
- Prepare and book accruals based on analysis of quarterly reports.
- Calculate monthly interest on loans and prepare wire requests as needed.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Have a minimum of 3-5+ years of accounting experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Possess familiarity with partnership tax returns.
- Exhibit strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Show strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Display excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive financial data.
- Bring experience with LIHTC or real estate accounting, and preferably exposure to large ERP systems.
