Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee technical accounting areas including ASC 606 revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and R&D capitalization
  .
• Partner with the Controller to strengthen month-end close processes and improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.
• Support audit readiness and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Manage and mentor a small team of Senior Accountants.
• Drive continuous process improvement, systems enhancement, and accounting automation initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 6–10 years of experience, ideally combining public accounting (Big 4 or large regional) with industry experience in manufacturing or another asset-intensive sector.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with technical accounting areas (ASC 606, inventory, R&D capitalization).
• Prior experience leading or auditing complex, multi-entity, or growth-stage environments.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills and leadership presence.
