As a Junior Accountant, this vital role assists in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records, supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Salary Range: $71,000 - $79,000 DOE
(Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs, in compliance with California pay transparency requirements.)
Responsibilities- Maintain the general ledger by posting and reviewing financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Support the month-end closing process by preparing and posting journal entries.
- Assist senior accountants with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks, including processing invoices and payments.
- Reconcile credit card statements and organize supporting receipts, ensuring all expenses are accurate and properly documented.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide support for audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Participate in special accounting projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned per business needs.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to review and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure that all transactions comply with the company's financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with other accounting projects as deemed necessary.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting/finance department, as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required
- Proficiency in GAAP principles
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- 1-2 Years Of Accounting/related Field Experience Required
