You will support customers by providing expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms. You will also help shape Turbo Tax Live Business, our newest product, while working at the #11 ranked company on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For.

• Provide accurate, timely tax advice and full‑service return preparation for business customers.
• Maintain sensitive customer information securely.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver the best answers in everyday language.
• Interact with customers via our video‑communication software (Smartlook).
• Assist with tax advice, full‑service preparation, product/software inquiries, tax calculations and extensions.
• Create high‑quality customer interactions that instill confidence using empathy and expert knowledge.
• Apply company policies to troubleshoot and resolve tax advice and preparation issues.
• Document all customer interactions.
• Meet company performance metrics and Big Bet Goals.
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations as needed.

• Three or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season, using commercial tax preparation software.
• At least two seasons of personal tax preparation experience (minimum 30 returns per year) in a tax practice or retail setting.
• Minimum 20 hours per week, spread over three or more days.
• Bookkeeping experience with "books‑to‑tax" preparation is strongly preferred.
• Experience with service‑industry business tax returns is strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain or already possess any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficiency with technology and solid computer skills.
• Strong customer‑service skills for video and audio interactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Critical thinking, problem‑solving, research skills, and determination.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Internet connection meeting Intuit security criteria.
• Reside in the United States.

Competitive base pay varies by location (example ranges shown below). Additional cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits are available.
