The Staff Accountant will support the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records across our Southern Hospitality portfolio of venues. This role will be responsible for accounts payable, revenue entry, reconciliations, and general ledger support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple financial workflows across different business entities.
Primary Responsibilities- Accounts payable leader
- Process weekly and monthly payments to facilities, promoters, contractors, and vendors.
- Review Vendors/contract workers prior to festivals making sure all payable and W9 information has been obtained.
- Create or respond to email questions related to accounts payable.
- Assist with invoice entry into Ramp for timely and accurate payables processing.
- Analyze and complete revenue entries for all venues as soon as data is available to ensure accurate reporting in Net Suite.
- Export, code, and upload daily bank transactions across multiple accounts into Net Suite.
- Submit coded transaction reports to the SoHo CEO and update Net Suite records accordingly.
- Perform reconciliations for 8 bank accounts and multiple credit card accounts (Amex, Ramp, and Wells Fargo).
- Reconcile venue cash vaults (Petty Cash) across various locations, ensuring alignment with operational reports.
- Assist with manual wire payments and artist settlements during festival season.
- Track and update payment dates in Ramp for all manual payments issued.
- Minimum 3+ years of accounting and accounts payable experience.
- Proficiency in Net Suite, Ramp, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of reconciliation workflows and general accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask across teams.
- Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in entertainment, live events, or venue operations is a strong plus.
This position is based in Los Angeles, CA. Hybrid working schedule, 4 days in office. Up to 40% travel throughout the U.S. for festivals, concerts and other live events.
The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 and includes medical/dental/vision/401k benefits. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DWP's total compensation package for employees.
