Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $115,000 per year.

• Maintain organized financial records, account schedules, and general ledger information.
• Coordinate the monthly close process and work with outside accounting support to ensure timely completion.
• Manage accounts receivable and support billing cycles while also overseeing accounts payable activity.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules that support review by senior leaders.
• Assist with the review of accounting procedures and support audit requests from internal and external groups.

• Strong ability to organize financial information and review account activity with accuracy.
• Skill in working with accounting systems, spreadsheets, and company payment tools.
• Ability to review budget activity, prepare simple forecasts, and support the monitoring of financial results.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to work across teams and manage confidential information with care.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment while meeting required deadlines.

• A bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related area.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial support roles.
• Progress toward a CPA or an active CPA is preferred.
• Previous experience within financial services or wealth management.
• Familiarity with common accounting software and strong general analytical ability.
