Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and ensure accurate application of accounting standards.
- Research and interpret accounting rules and support proper financial reporting across the organization.
- Prepare detailed documentation and analyses for significant accounting matters and key business activities.
- Support audit processes by coordinating responses providing documentation and addressing technical questions.
- Partner with finance and business leaders to incorporate accounting considerations into operational and strategic decisions.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.
- Bring extensive experience in technical accounting with strong knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrate ability to research complex topics and communicate conclusions clearly.
- Collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision making without direct authority.
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast paced and evolving environment.
- Maintain and update accounting policies to ensure consistency clarity and alignment with industry standards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance internal controls and reporting practices.
- Develop training materials and deliver guidance to improve accounting knowledge across teams.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide support on strategic initiatives including acquisitions.
- Demonstrate leadership analytical thinking and commitment to continuous improvement in accounting practices.
