Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of current tax laws
- Open to hybrid work
- Proficiency in tax preparation, research, and planning software
- Occasional overtime required; heavy overtime from Jan 1 to Apr 15, possibly exceeding 55 hours per week
- 7‑10 years in public accounting, progressing in tax complexity and scope
- 2+ years representing clients before tax authorities
- 1+ year supervising and directing work of tax preparers
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; master’s in taxation preferred
- Minimum of 40 hours of continuing education yearly
- Valid CPA license required
- Member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs
