Our SaaS client, in partnership with Conexus Recruiting, seeks a talented Accounting Manager to join their Corporate Finance and Accounting Team.

Job Details

Title: Accounting Manager
Location: near Santa Monica
Type: Full-time, direct hire
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
Compensation: $130,000 - $145,000/year + equity, plus benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and unlimited PTO

Role Overview

Seeking a professional with experience in corporate accounting, who is eager to work at a rapidly growing company with substantial recurring revenue, venture capital backing, and opportunities for advancement. This role offers high visibility to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

Perform month-end closes of the General Ledger.

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Manage a team of accounting professionals.

Lead the Accounts Payable department.

Maintain KPIs to enhance financial reporting processes.

Generate financial statements for upper management with the Controller's assistance.

Lead finance transformation initiatives across divisions.

Conduct ASC 606 technical accounting research.

Support external audits and improve internal controls.

Manage tax audits and compliance with state and international regulations.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
At least 2 years in supervisory roles.
Experience with public accounting and CPA or CPA tracking.
Background in Tech/SaaS/High Growth environments.

Preferred

Experience at a Big 4 firm.
Knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.

Skills Technical

Proficiency in Net Suite.

Interpersonal

Self-starter with initiative and responsibility.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
