Senior Manager of Accounting

We are partnering with a consumer products company in Calabasas to hire a Senior Manager of Accounting.

This is a key leadership role responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, audit support, and oversight of revenue accounting and accounts receivable. This individual will have the opportunity to lead a team, drive process improvements, and partner cross-functionally across finance, operations, and commercial teams.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, variance analyses, and key business performance metrics
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal control documentation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
• Partner with corporate accounting members on financial reporting, audit support, and technical accounting matters
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA (active or inactive status)
• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 3+ years of experience managing and developing a small to mid-sized team
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Public accounting audit experience and/or publicly traded company experience
• ERP systems experience and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities

• Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), food & beverage, distribution, or light manufacturing industry experience
• Experience with revenue accounting and managing accounts receivable

Base salary of $160,000–$190,000 + annual bonus
