Senior Accountant, Professional Services
Position:
Full-time.
Our professional services client is looking for a Senior Accountant to support the firm Controller. The firm has grown to over 50 employees, and they need someone who can thrive in a rapid-growth environment with few processes in place. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to help build out the accounting department in a growing company and make an impact by setting up new processes and procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist with the month‑end close process and reporting.
- Work with the Controller to develop new accounting processes.
- Perform variance analyses on financial results.
- Ensure adequate internal controls within the firm.
- Liaise with the outside CPA firm.
- Four‑year degree in Accounting.
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Professional services experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to succeed in an environment with few processes in place.
- Ability to multi‑task.
Salary commensurate with experience.
