A Westside company is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. In this role, the Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for technical accounting, assisting with the external audit, and supporting month‑end close. • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience or active CPA
• Advanced Excel

• Oversee and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Assist in addressing technical accounting matters, including complex transactions (e.g., debt modifications).
• Partner with external auditors and support audit processes as needed.
• Apply technical accounting knowledge to analyze and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Support accounting for joint ventures transactions, as applicable.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members.
• Support the Controller in managing departmental priorities and initiatives.
• Contribute to process enhancements and efficiencies within the accounting function.
• Assist with ongoing system evaluation and potential ERP transition.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
