- Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow) for the fund.
- Month-End & Year-End Closing: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial data and compliance with accounting policies.
- Financial Record Maintenance: Accurately record daily transactions and corporate actions related to fund activities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, analyze variances, and provide detailed financial insights to support decision-making and cost control.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and industry standards. Coordinate with external auditors and manage tax-related activities.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current accounting processes and systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy, including leveraging new accounting technologies and automation tools.
- Experience
:
Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience and 1+ years of fund accounting experience working in both the public and private sector. - Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Technical Expertise
:
Advanced proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel - Communication Skills
:
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to collaborate across departments and present financial insights to leadership. - Organizational Skills
:
Highly analytical with excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
