Accounting Manager

Silvus Technologies is a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, Inc. and was acquired in 2025.

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the daily operations of the Accounting team and ensure integrity of financial reporting. The role is headquartered in West Los Angeles, CA, with a hybrid schedule, requiring at least three on‑site days per week.

• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial information.
• Manage month, quarter and year‑end close processes; ensure journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and SOX compliance.
• Supervise, train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
• Simplify and automate processes.
• Analyze General Ledger activity to ensure compliance with GAAP and Motorola Solutions policies.
• Own General Ledger related SOX efforts.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Resourceful, capable of devising creative solutions to problems.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident).
• All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

• Current CPA license.
• Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience with Oracle.
• Experience at a publicly traded company or in external audit.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

$125,000 – $160,000 annually (market‑based and varies with experience).
