Staff Accountant

Diamond Game is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our finance team. In this role you will support accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and ensure the integrity of our accounting operations. Utilizing hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices, this position performs complex accounting activities and financial analyses. The role assists the company on operational matters related to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, preparation of supporting schedules for external auditors, support of internal control compliance, and ad-hoc projects. The position also ensures that the company's accounting procedures and reporting conform to public reporting requirements and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Assist with the month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare journal entries accurately with proper supporting documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports according to company policies and IFRS standards.
• Analyze complex financial reports and records.
• Generate and send invoices to customers and monitor customer accounts for delayed payments, following up with customers via phone, email, or mail.
• Review and clear sales orders for accuracy and timely customer invoicing.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze aging reports.
• Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
• Assist with financial and tax audits.
• Review, create, and assess Fixed Assets.
• Document and monitor internal controls in support of the audit team.
• Coordinate complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or other departments.

• Perform other tasks and duties as needed and/or requested by management.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Active CPA license or CPA license in progress is preferred.
• 2+ years of previous accounting experience.
• Experience in public accounting with a Big 4 firm is desirable.
• Experience in a publicly traded company.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision preferred.
• Operational knowledge within software development and manufacturing company preferred.
