Sr. Tax Accountant

Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for a Tax Accountant. The Tax Accountant will work with financial and income tax statements, making sure that they comply with tax laws by filing their federal and state tax returns. If you are a deadline driven Tax Accountant with excellent attention to detail and highly organized, this may be the role for you!

Major responsibilities:

• Confirm that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations
• Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company's tax database
• Oversee tax preparation work that is outsourced
• Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
• Put together accurate quarterly and annual tax reports
• Provide management with information regarding the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
• Create tax solutions to incorrect tax fillings or complicated tax issues
• Maintain good industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications
