Job Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role involves managing accounting functions, utilizing various accounting software systems and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Responsibilities- Utilize Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data
- Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger
- Utilize Excel formulas for accounting tasks
- Manage financial records using Computerized Accounting Systems
- Oversee annual budget preparation and execution
- Execute daily bank deposits and manage billing procedures
- Operate Quick Books for financial management and reporting
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounting functions
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Computerized Accounting System
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of Excel Formulas
- Solid understanding and experience with Accounting Functions
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Ability to prepare and analyze Annual Budget
- Knowledge of Journal Entries and General Ledger management
- Experience with Quick Books software
- Familiarity with Billing procedures and processes
- Experience handling Daily Bank Deposits
