Controller Position

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations of a growing manufacturing company. This role will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, cost accounting, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. The Controller will serve as a strategic business partner to leadership while ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting functions, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Oversee physical inventory counts and inventory controls.
• Coordinate annual audits and maintain strong internal controls.
• Partner with operations leadership to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Manage and develop accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager role.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Strong cost accounting and inventory accounting background.
• Extensive experience with ERP systems
• CPA (+)
• Advanced Excel skills.
