CGP: Senior Property Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. The role supports day‑to‑day accounting across multiple entities, focusing on reconciliations, expense accounting, balance‑sheet maintenance, and monthly financial reporting.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience: hourly rates ranging from $25.00 to $50.00, or annual salaries between $70,000 and $80,000. All positions are full‑time.

• Maintain financial information by preparing reports, maintaining accounting records and general ledger, and analyzing accounts.
• Approve accounts payable vouchers and codes.
• Reconcile the general ledger daily, including reviewing reports and posting entries.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.
• Manage payables and receivables and support balance‑sheet maintenance.
• Own the full‑cycle month‑end close, advanced financial reporting, and predictive modeling as required.
• Support day‑to‑day accounting operations across multiple California retail and distribution entities.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Pivot Tables.
• Experience with Oracle and hotel/property accounting systems preferred.
• Solid understanding of general ledger reconciliation and accounts payable processes.
• Ability to produce accurate financial reports and analyze accounting data.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Available for full‑time work, including a potential 25% travel requirement.
