Job Description
Crowe is growing tremendously and is seeking future leaders. This role is a Partner career path or growth opportunity within Audit & Assurance. The Senior Associate will lead engagements in the Financial Services vertical including Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, Insurance, and Fintech. The position offers the chance to transition between industry verticals that align with professional goals.
Responsibilities- Run client engagements from start to finish, including financial statement preparation, internal staffing, project scheduling, budgeting, planning, and administrative functions.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns on audit processes and assess performance for engagement reviews.
- Maintain outstanding client relationships and collaborate with client management to deliver audit services.
- Work with audit team to identify and resolve client issues discovered during the audit process.
- Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues using electronic databases and audit software to review and compile financial information.
- Engage with client management to collect information, resolve audit-related problems, and recommend business and process improvements.
- 2+ years of recent public accounting external audit experience.
- Experience in external audit with Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, and Fintech clients.
- Previous Asset Management client experience required.
- Strong organization, social, technical, accounting and auditing skills to work efficiently with clients and staff and build positive relationships.
- Experience with engagement management, reviews, and staff supervision.
- Ability to multi‑task and manage concurrent engagements.
- Strong research skills on technical matters prior to manager review.
- Meeting the education requirement for CPA certification in the state of hire, and CPA license in that state preferred.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites.
The wage range for this role is $70,600.00 - $ per year. The estimate is based on skill sets, experience, licensure, certifications, and other business needs.
