Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking aSenior Manager of Corporate Accounting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $165,000 to $185,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:Oversee corporate accounting activities, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
Monitor financial results, analyze variances, and provide insights to support management decision making.
Lead and develop accounting team members across multiple locations while ensuring consistent execution of responsibilities.
Coordinate with auditors, tax professionals, and internal stakeholders to support compliance and reporting requirements.
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and special projects related to growth, acquisitions, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced education.
CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Prior experience working within public company environments and supporting regulatory compliance initiatives.
Hands on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Qualifications:Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams across multiple locations and time zones.
Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and leadership levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Previous experience within financial services, business intelligence tools, process automation, or emerging technologies.
