Job Duties

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065)
• Assist with tax planning strategies and projections for clients
• Communicate with clients regarding tax documents, deadlines, and follow-ups
• Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws and best practices
• Use modern accounting tools (Quick Books Desktop and Online, Ledger Sync, Gusto, ADP)

What You Need

• 2+ years of recent tax experience in a CPA firm or similar environment
• Proficient with Lacerte tax preparation software and cloud-based accounting systems
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulation
• Bonus: CPA or EA designation (or actively pursuing)
