Our client is a media firm. They seek a Senior Tax Analyst to join their Los Angeles, CA office.
Responsibilities
- Gather, examine, and verify vendor-submitted W-9 and W-8 documentation
- Track vendor payment activity to assess reporting obligations and withholding requirements
- Help prepare and reconcile annual 1042-S filings
- Support resolution of IRS notices, audit requests, and reporting discrepancies
- Manage and maintain compliance timelines and filing deadlines
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and other teams to ensure clean, accurate vendor records
- Provide support during audits, stakeholder inquiries, and ad hoc reporting requests
- Identify and help implement opportunities for process automation and improvement
Requirements
- 3+ years of 1042 tax experience required
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume shared services environment
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
