Staff Accountant
A hospitality company in West Hollywood is seeking a Staff Accountant for a temporary leave of absence. The Staff Accountant will provide interim support while a key General Ledger team member is on leave. This role is onsite Monday – Thursday from 10-6PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily sales reconciliations
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Process venue payment applications
- Support general ledger and month-end accounting activities
- Assist with other accounting duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Staff Accountant
- Hospitality industry background required
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Experience with journal entries and cash activity
- Ability to work independently and start quickly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
This is an onsite role Monday - Thursday from 10-6PM. Hospitality experience is required and experience with R365 is a plus. Pay is based on experience, between $25-35/hr.
