The PositionWe are hiring a Tax Senior / Senior Associate to join our local offices in Irvine, LA, SLC, Denver, or Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional with at least 4+ years of experience who enjoys working directly with clients, managing tax engagements, and contributing to a collaborative, high‑performing team. A CPA license is preferred, but not required, for someone with strong public accounting experience and the right technical foundation.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and related entities
- Support tax planning, research, and compliance projects across a variety of client accounts
- Work closely with clients to gather financial information, answer questions, and provide proactive service
- Identify tax issues, opportunities, and solutions while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Assist with year‑end accounting, financial statement preparation, and related client deliverables as needed
- Research technical tax matters and clearly communicate findings to leadership and clients
- Help manage multiple engagements simultaneously during busy seasons and throughout the year
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a team‑oriented, solutions‑focused work environment
- 4+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and tax
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA preferred
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance for individual and business entities
- Experience in preparing and reviewing returns with accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workflow, and work independently
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Proficiency with tax and accounting software, plus solid Excel skills
- Detail‑oriented, dependable, and committed to delivering high‑quality work
- Base salary of $90,000-$120,000, depending on experience
