Audit Manager

Premier Financial Search is representing a growing public accounting firm seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its investment funds practice. • Manage audit engagements for private and public investment fund clients from planning through completion.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing responsive, high-quality service.
• Review financial statements, work papers, and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
• Lead engagement teams, including scheduling, delegation, supervision, and review of work.
• Coach and develop seniors and staff while providing ongoing technical guidance and feedback.
• Identify accounting, reporting, and audit issues, and collaborate with clients and firm leadership to develop solutions.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and overall performance.
• Stay current on accounting and auditing developments affecting investment funds and the financial services industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Several years of progressive public accounting audit experience, including experience at the manager level.
• Meaningful audit experience with investment funds, private equity, hedge funds, or other financial services clients.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and professional auditing standards.
• Experience managing engagements and supervising audit professionals.
• Strong client service, communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• CPA required or strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Hybrid - 3 days in-office

$120,000 to $132,000, depending on experience.
