Our client, a leading law firm, is looking for a bookkeeper to help keep their accounting books in order!
The right candidate will be judged on ability to follow instruction as well as experience and skill. This role is perfect for a candidate that desires to grow in a firm. There is plenty of room to grow and our firm is focused on investing in the growth of all candidates.
Position Responsibilities- Enter financial data and transactions
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Review, pay, and enter costs in software
- Monitor trust deposits
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions
- Reconciling company accounts
- Working with staff accountants as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, Quick Books, and basic accounting systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- Experience with Casepeer, File Vine, Litify or similar software a plus
