Property Accountant

Los Angeles County , CA Contract Accounting $40/HR to $50/HR 09/09/2026

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Property Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $40.00 to $50.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements, accounting schedules, and reports for a portfolio of assigned properties.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, account analyses, and general ledger reviews to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities while maintaining complete financial records.
  • Assist with budgeting, cash flow reporting, and financial performance monitoring for managed properties.
  • Collaborate with property management teams to support reporting requirements and resolve accounting issues.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or possess equivalent professional experience.
  • Bring experience in property accounting within commercial, residential, retail, or mixed property environments.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with accounting software and property management systems.
  • Possess advanced Excel skills for financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain the ability to work effectively in a small office environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate financial data and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with property managers, tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail when preparing reports, reconciliations, and financial records.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills while managing multiple properties and reporting deadlines.
  • Work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative and professional team environment.
