Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $40.00 to $47.00 per hour.

Manage general ledger activities and maintain accurate financial records across multiple accounting areas.

Prepare and post journal entries while supporting month end close and financial reporting processes.

Review trial balances, reconcile accounts, and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.

Perform bank reconciliations and assist with process improvements and automation initiatives where applicable.

Review accounts payable activity and validate transactions to ensure proper coding and supporting documentation.

4+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong general ledger exposure.

Previous experience preparing reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and account analyses.

Knowledge of month end close procedures and financial reporting processes.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and data analysis functions.

Prior experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and Net Suite.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.

High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial information.

Hands on approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent organizational and time management skills in a deadline driven environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
