Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $110,000 per year.

Lead month end close activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for assigned business entities.

Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and supporting schedules to maintain financial accuracy.

Analyze financial results revenue activity and account balances to identify trends variances and reporting issues.

Coordinate audit requests and provide documentation that supports internal and external review processes.

Partner with operational departments to resolve accounting matters and recommend improvements to financial processes.

A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a professional environment.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and compliance requirements.

Possess experience with month end close account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.

Maintain proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel functions used for financial analysis and reporting.

Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate complex accounting transactions and financial results.

Communicate effectively with management auditors and cross functional business partners.

Demonstrate leadership abilities through mentoring training and supporting junior accounting team members.

Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

Bring experience with lease accounting intercompany transactions audit support or process improvement initiatives considered beneficial.
