Credit Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a dedicated Credit Clerk to join their team. As a Credit Clerk, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Collections and Accounts Receivable teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Contact delinquent accounts to request payment and document all communication in the contact center system.

+ Maintain professional and courteous relationships with a diverse range of customers and team members.

+ Schedule effective reminders for payment deadlines based on customer agreements and collection patterns.

+ Respond to customer inquiries regarding outstanding balances, invoices, and account information.

+ Research account disputes and billing discrepancies, ensuring accurate resolution and documentation.

** What's Needed?*
* + Polite, friendly demeanor with the ability to handle difficult conversations diplomatically.

+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

+ Strong math and problem-solving abilities.

+ Familiarity with Oracle platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

+ Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and follow up effectively.
