Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join a nonprofit organization in the 90043 area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid AP experience who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently.

Experience with Accu Fund is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

+ Process and enter vendor invoices into Accu Fund

+ Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and required approvals

+ Maintain vendor records and documentation

+ Prepare invoices and bills for payment

+ Assist with check runs and payment processing

+ Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation

+ Research and resolve invoice discrepancies

+ Maintain organized AP files and records

+ Assist with account coding and general accounting tasks

+ Support month-end AP activities and reporting

+ Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account questions

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Accounts payable experience required

+ Accu Fund experience strongly preferred

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Reliable and able to work independently

+ Comfortable working in a nonprofit accounting environment

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to commit to approximately 20 hours per week
